The Community in Pentredwr has come up with a way to continue with some of the valuable social activities that would normally take place in the community centre but have not been happening since the Lock Down came into effect in March.

From early in May coffee mornings, yoga and fitness classes plus quizzes, art classes, cookery lessons, book groups and talks will take place over Zoom and other social Media Platforms.

Using our existing Facebook Page and our website for bookings and as an information point plus a printable weekly newsletter to connect those of us who don't have access to wifi.

As a rural village the added isolation of the lockdown has had a big impact on our community and we hope that this project will help our community to feel connected again.

This project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
