Pentredwr Community Association has been fortunate to get Lottery Funding. Firstly, to modernise the building and secondly, to repair and improve the grounds. So, thank you to anyone who buys Lottery tickets.
To keep within budget we prioritised:
Updating the drainage
Making the front wall safe
Providing disabled parking and
Tarmac-ing the drive.
The work will be completed by the end of November this year. Thank you to all involved, "especially Adrian Farrell, for overseeing the work, our contractors, PDconstruction and Terry Butler for his helpful advice and support."
To answer some of your questions: * The daffodils are still there to brighten up our Springs. * The new concrete wall will be re-faced when funding allows. * Further work is still needed to make the site as we want it, in particular the top yard (where we have the bonfire), again, when funding is available.
